As of year 1993, Agricultores Federados Argentinos S.C.L. incursions into the oily seeds industrialization, building a facility for solvent extraction of oil, at Los Cardos locality, with a seed stockpile capability of 250.000 tons and permanent staff of 51 employees.

Currently, 500 tons of soy are processed per day, obtaining raw oils and soy pellets of protein flours, with high and medium protein levels. All the used raw material comes from the associated producers.

In March of 2005, a new refining facility for soy, sunflower and rapeseed oils starts up nearby the crushing facility.
With this new enterprise, the cooperative aims to add value to the primary production; and the totality of the raw oil produced is refined, which is a necessary process to achieve a product fit for human consumption.

All the production is certified under the norms:

A new step in the production industrialization

Agricultores Federados Argentinos SCL, achieving the goals of reaching the consumers and providing added value to the production, purchased the Aceitera Litoral S.A. Company in July of 2009. The facility has six oil bottling lines with a processing capability of 2000 monthly tons by 8hs turns. These lines produce packs from 500 cc. to 5000 cc.

In addition to the mentioned machines, the cooperative added its four recognized commercial brands, already settled in the argentine massive consumption market, with more than 50 years of history. These brands are Zanoni, Don Felipe, Formidable and San Marcos.

The cooperative performs activities in the internal market through sales to vendors, distributors and supermarkets in 14 provinces, covering the totality of the center and north of the country’s areas. There are advanced trades going on in order to develop the foreign commerce, especially, with countries of the American continent.

Through this enterprise, the Cooperative completes the last link of the productive chain, that begins with the provision of sow seeds to the associated members, up to the manufacture of bottled oil for human consumption, ensuring an excellent quality in all the production stages and making real the statement of its pioneers: “from the seed to the table”

This way, AFA S.C.L. generates an important work force for the region,
and increments the value of the grain seed that that the associated producers
 trust the Cooperative, honoring its traditional statement: “from the seed to the table”
