A Different Cooperative StructureAFA is a first degree cooperative that was founded in November 3rd 1932 and it is settled in the heart of the “Pampa Húmeda”.
Its structure, with 26 primary cooperative centers which are coordinated by a head office located in the city of Rosario, allows AFA to have a consolidated presence in more than 90 localities in the provinces of Santa Fe, BA y Córdoba. It currently has more than 30,000 associated producers.
As a unique legal entity, this cooperative is the main cereal grains producer in the country with a stockpile of around 4,000,000 annual tons. Therefore, it has its own stockpile centers with a stockpiling capacity of around 3,000,000 tons. This scale makes AFA to be recognized as a benchmark of the country’s cereal market, enabling the producers to have access to the best conditions in the market.
